After I saw Sydney journalist Peter FitzSimons in the canteen at my children’s school, I decided I wanted to paint his portrait for the Sydney Archibald prize. I’m grateful he graciously agreed.
Note the detail below of the food pyramid, which I had as much fun with as Peter’s face.

We have recently purchased Victoria’s secrets and would like to know the lication that inspired this beautiful work
I’m delighted you like the image. Are you in possession of the print or the original? Lucky you if it’s the original! The scene isn’t taken from a specific spot, but, like all my images is a composite of perspectives and landmarks. Having said that, the view is something one might see from high spots in more established suburbs like Te Aro, Newtown or Mt Cook.
